Grand Champion at the Canadian Cheese Grand Prix 2015! Also winner in the Cream-enriched soft Cheese with bloomy rind category. Made by expert cheese-maker Jean Morin of Fromagerie du Presbytère.
Laliberté is a triple cream cheese, made with Pasteurized cow milk. Its wonderful bloomy rind surrounds a decadent, silky and rich paste that is bursting with complex sweet, grassy and mushroom notes; flavours not expected from a young, pasteurized cheese and a tribute to the quality of milk which comes from the Morins’ own farm.
Its name comes from the name of the sculptor, Alfred Laliberté, born in Ste-Elizabeth de Warwick.
Pair it with an Australian Shiraz.
